Every dollar you spend is a vote.
A quiet, powerful vote for the kind of world you want to live in.
With Earth Day approaching, I’ve been reflecting on how our financial choices—big and small—shape the future of our planet.
We all make daily decisions with our money:
- Where we buy our coffee
- What brands we bring into our homes
- How we invest for the future
And while none of us can be perfect, we can be intentional.
If you care about clean water, healthy communities, or leaving a better world for the next generation, then spending with purpose matters.
For me, that looks like supporting local businesses, avoiding companies that pollute, and investing in green funds—investments that are profitable and environmentally responsible. I work with my advisor, Laurie Stephenson, who specializes in ethical investing that aligns values with strong returns. You can explore her philosophyhereif that’s something you’re curious about.
So here’s your Earth Day invitation:
- Take one small step toward aligning your money with your values
- Ask yourself: Where is my money voting today?
- Remember that financial wellness and environmental wellness are deeply connected
The choices we make—especially with our money—can help build a greener, kinder, and more sustainable future.
Yours in Good Financial Health,
